Elders are called to discern God's will and direction for our church. They are responsible for all day-to-day operations, programs, ministries, missions, and finances. Elders make up the Session of Trinity that meets once a month and each elder serves on a specific ministry team. This commitment is normally for three years.

The elders are divided into five ministry teams and one committee. Each team/committee also has members-at-large from the congregation and staff support. Listed below is a brief description of each team’s responsibilities and the elders serving on that team.



Ministry Teams

ADULT FORMATION
Responsible for EDGE classes, Tuesdays in the Word, and Raitt Preaching Series. Leadership and oversight responsibilities such as marriage ministries, women's and men's ministries, MOPS, money ministries, the adult Sunday School classes, etc.
Craig Furniss & Jeannine Erickson (Vice Pres.)

CARE MINISTRY
Responsible for the love and care for the members at Trinity and to serve as Good Samaritans to those in need.
Judy Rand

COMMUNICATIONS
Responsible for keeping Trinity members informed of news and events at Trinity, and for getting the word out to our local community. Developing new brochures and flyers for our church, and looking for effective ways to communicate our church's message to the community.

CONGREGATIONAL LIFE
Responsible for matters in the life of the church members beginning with the first time a person walks through the church doors, including New Members Class, fellowship gatherings, receptions, Deacon Ministries, Stephen Ministries, etc.

FAMILY MINISTRIES
Responsible for Christian Education cradle through college, including Sunday School, camping program, Vacation Bible School, summer events on and off campus for youth.

College/Young Adults: Yolanda Sellers

FACILITIES
Facilities is responsible for maintenance and repair of physical plant and equipment and grounds. The Custodial Staff is also responsible for supporting the many activities that take place on campus by setting up and taking down the configurations needed by the event.

Responsible for the financial management, stewardship and endowments and providing a full and accurate accounting of all revenues and expenses.

HUMAN RESOURCES
Responsible for the administrative staffing requirements and job descriptions.

MISSION & MOBILIZATION
Responsible for maintaining supportive contact with all mission efforts locally and abroad which are supported by Trinity church. Responsible for a lay mobilization program identifying spiritual gifts and their utilization within the body of Christ and community. Develops and supports an active evangelism effort.

PRAYER
Responsible for the prayer focus at Trinity. Provides the tools and vehicles to allow every member the opportunity to be prayed for and to pray for the church, its mission and its congregation.

Responsible for the full and accurate record of the proceedings of the Session Meetings.

STEWARDSHIP
Provide our congregation with guidance regarding the Biblical basis for Christian stewardship of time , talent and treasure. Encourage each member by conducting a Fall stewardship program focused upon biblical giving and proving year round communications about being good stewards of the treasure that God has provided us.

TECHNOLOGY
T3 is the technology resource for all departments at Trinity, mapping the requirements of the ministries to the most appropriate and cost effective technology for today, with growth for the future.

WORSHIP & MUSIC
Responsible for the many diverse aspects of Trinity's worship services from the vocal and bell choirs and instrumentalists to the ushers and items in the pew rack.
